Most popular used laptops in October 2025

October has ended, so let’s review my predictions versus reality.

My prediction for October was –

👉 The Lenovo ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 could climb very high next month. 15-inch ThinkPads are generally quite rare on the used market, and on the very first day this model became available in our selection, two units sold immediately. This shows there’s demand, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the T15 Gen 1 made it into the TOP 3 in October.

👉 I also believe that the HP ProBook 445 G8 will perform strongly again. More than a month has passed since the last campaign, which means we can legally run a campaign for this model again. And since I’ve received more of these computers in stock, all the conditions are in place for the ProBook 445 G8 to re-enter the rankings.

I hit the nail on the head with the first point, as that model took first place. With the second prediction, AMD fell short of the Intel platform this time, as the HP Probook 440 G8 surprisingly rose to third place. An interesting case I wouldn’t have thought of a month ago.

This time, the ranking was as follows –

🥇 1st place – Lenovo Thinkpad T15 Gen 1 (24 units)

The October winner, after a long time, is a 15.6″ laptop. The fact that a larger batch of this model arrived at our store certainly played a role in its victory, and thus it received a bit more attention. 15.6″ laptops are often sought after, and there wasn’t much competition in that size class in October. A few more important points worth mentioning about this computer:

🖥️ Large 15.6″ and full HD screen

⌨️ Full keyboard with a numeric keypad, which is definitely a good thing if you work with numbers a lot

🔌 Plenty of ports – you can connect all your printers, mice, keyboards, and still have ports left over

🚀 Decent i5 processor, 16GB memory, and a fast SSD

🥈 2nd place – Dell Latitude 5310 (18 units)

I wouldn’t have believed this model would make it here myself, as the Latitude 5420 has kept Dell’s honor high in the rankings for several months in a row. Generally, 14″ models are more popular than 13.3″, although the difference is really small – people still prefer a 14″ screen. But as you can see, not this time! 😄 Awesome – I was already wondering if I dared to keep so many 13″ laptops in stock at all, but look – it happened.

💡 The success of this model is probably also due to its discounted price, as the model is running out. A few are still available, but I’m not sure if more will be coming.

🥉 3rd place – HP Probook 440 G8 / Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen 1 / Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Gen 2 (17 units)

The competition for the TOP spots is fierce, and this time, third place was shared among these models. In my predictions, I thought the HP ProBook 445 G8 would do well, but as you can see – this time, the Intel platform made it into the top three, and its AMD sibling only reached 10th place. 😅

With Lenovo, it’s no surprise – these models have been in the TOP 3 for several months in a row. This time they just barely made it, but honestly, I don’t think they’ll be leaving anytime soon. The T-series has been a reliable performer for years, both in terms of reliability and popularity. 💪

Summary

It was a great month – the rankings saw quite a few changes, and it was really fun to write this post. 😎

In October, Microsoft had originally planned to end support for Windows 10, but at the very last minute, it was decided that updates would continue for another year in the European Union. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend taking these updates 100% seriously anymore, as the rest of the world has already said goodbye to Windows 10.

I recommend upgrading to Windows 11 if you haven’t already. 💻

Compared to September, sales numbers were slightly lower, but August-September are always very strong months. Compared to October last year, we achieved a very good result – there was even significant growth. 📈

November Forecast

So, what do I think will happen in November?
💡 I think the ThinkPad T15 stock is sufficient to stay in the TOP 3 for another month, but currently, no new large batch seems to be coming – so this model might run out soon.

🆕 Asus ExpertBooks were ordered into stock for a trial – we’ll see if they have a rise ahead. The first few days have been quieter, but since we haven’t had many Asus business-class models before, it might be that fans are just starting to discover them (I hope so at least 😄).

💪 ProBook, ProBook, ProBook! I still believe in this machine. It set very strong records in the summer, and I think the HP ProBook 445 G8 will be back in the rankings very soon – and very strongly.

With that, I’ll end this post, and thank you all for a great month! 🙌
