Popular Used Laptops in January 2026

I just tallied last month’s numbers and thought I’d make a small post to share which laptops were bought the most in January.

In January, we sold just over 300 used laptops. The most popular brand was HP, but interestingly, an HP model didn’t take the top spot – someone else was the winner this time. More on that in a moment.

What’s especially great is that compared to last year, January was over 100% better. I was very pleased, and a huge thank you to all buyers who have trusted us and purchased their new computer from us.

The year has started well, and I still have big plans for 2026. Be sure to keep an eye on what we’re doing.

But enough with the introduction – let’s take a closer look at which used laptops were the real performers in January.

1. place – Dell Latitude 5420 (40 units)

The Dell Latitude 5420 has been a solid TOP 2–3 model for us for a long time, but in January, it finally achieved the first-place win.

This laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 11th generation processor. This model is available with both 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM, and disk sizes vary from 256 GB to 512 GB. This wide selection is one of the main reasons why the Latitude 5420 is so successful – everyone can find a configuration that suits their price and performance needs.

Prices start from just 220 euros, and for that money, it’s a very robust laptop for work and everyday use. No wonder this model has become so popular among customers.

2. place – HP ProBook 445 G8 (36 units)

The HP ProBook 445 G8 can already be considered a legendary guest on the charts. We haven’t been doing this monthly TOP for very long, but for about the last six months, this model has been represented on the charts every time.

Obviously, this computer must be worth its price, because in last year’s summary, we sold approximately 200 units of this model. As you can see, the ProBook 445 G8 continues strongly in 2026, and honestly, this model is also among my personal favorites.

We have this laptop with both AMD Ryzen 3 and Ryzen 5 processors. I don’t currently have a precise comparison of which version sold better, but my gut feeling tells me that the Ryzen 3 variant is preferred – for a simple reason: it’s very affordable. HP ProBook 445 G8 prices start from just 150 euros, making it one of the best value-for-money used laptops.

3. place – Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2 (28 units)

Compared to 1st and 2nd place, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2 is a bit more expensive, but it is definitely worth its price – it is, after all, a proper ThinkPad. In terms of quantity, this model falls slightly short of the top spots, but if you look at the total turnover, it’s very likely that this model is one of the largest numerically, because the price is higher.

If you compare a used ThinkPad T14s Gen 2 with a new device, the financial saving is significant – used, this machine is approximately 2–3 times more affordable, while performance and user experience are still at a very high level. Therefore, this model is an excellent choice for those who want a quality business-class laptop without paying the price tag of a new computer.

In summary, one could simply say about this model: it’s a Lenovo ThinkPad. And a ThinkPad always sells well – campaign or not, it will reach the charts one way or another.
